Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, promptly clearing tables.
- Complete side duties ie.cutlery, sanitizing menus, stocking etc.
- Set up tables, monitor reservations and ensure adequate seating
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, change rooms and lounge/entrance way
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry is required
- Smart Serve Certified required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Time-management skills to maintain a prompt dining experience while completing side duties throughout shift
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Familiarity with various drink recipes and food pairings for customer recommendations
- Fine dining experience an asset

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week(must be available evenings and weekends
