Golf Course Maintenance Worker

River Oaks Golf Course is located 5 km south of Winnipeg off of Waverly St.

Position to be filled: Full Time (Position is seasonal August to October)

Duties: All aspects related to the maintenance of the golf course, which include:

• Greens
• Bunker maintenance
• Push mowing
• Trimming/weeding
• Sodding
• And all other jobs required by the superintendent
• Previous experience in the field is an asset
• Fundamental understanding of the game of golf is an asset
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently with others as well as by yourself
• Must have valid driver’s licence
• Must be able to work early mornings (Start times 6am then following the sunrise)
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions (Rain or Shine)
• Must understand that the job is physically demanding
• Must be able to work some weekends (rotating amongst all staff)
