Job Summary

The Golf Professional is a key leader within the Golf Operations team at Eagle Ranch Resort. Working closely with the Head Golf Professional, this role supports the day‑to‑day operation of the golf shop, leads the Outside Services teamウォ and contributes to creating a progressive, inclusive, and service‑driven culture. The Golf Professional plays an active role in merchandising, inventory management, and ensuring the golf shop delivers a premium retail experience. This position also supports player development through lessons, clinics, and junior programs alongside the Director of Instruction. The ideal candidate is energetic, solutions‑focused, passionate about golf, and committed to exceeding guest expectations. A motivated PGA of Canada professional (or apprentice) aiming to grow leadership skills in preparation for future Head Professional opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring Outside Services and Golf Shop staff to ensure premium guest service.
  • Supporting golf shop operations including tee sheet management, retail sales, and guest check‑in.
  • Participating in merchandising, inventory management, retail displays, and monthly inventory counts.
  • Assisting with lessons, clinics, junior programming, and memberedan engagement alongside the Head Professional and Director of Instruction.
  • Supporting tournament operations and contributing to continuous improvement of service standards.
  • Working closely with the Head Golf Professional to create a motivating and inclusive environment.
  • Modeling corporate values in daily actions, decisions, and pho‑leadership.

  • Anticipating guest needs and proactively solving problems before they become issues.
  • Ensuring service delivery is consistent with our SERVICE BEYOND philosophy.
  • Overseeing outside service operations : bag drop, staging area, and practice facilities.
  • Supporting Golf Shop staff with tee‑sheet flow, tournament preparation, event execution, and daily golf course procedures.
  • Maintaining communication with the golf shop, starters, outside service personnel, turf team and management.
  • Assisting the Director of Instruction and Head Golf Professional with lessons, clinics, and junior programs.
  • Helping create memorable and impactful golf experiences that grow engagement in the game.
  • Participating in scheduling, training, performance feedback, and onboarding new team members.
  • Supporting corporate financial responsibility by managing staff hours efficiently and minimizing waste.

Qualifications

  • PGA of Canada Associate / Apprentice Professional or Member in Good Standing (active membership pursued will be considered).
  • Passionate about golf, people, and delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Confident communicator and problem solver with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to inspire a team.
  • Experience in merchandising, inventory processes, and point‑of‑sale systems.

Compensation

$3,900 – $4,300 / month (dependent on experience).
