What You’ll Do;
As a Merchandising Analyst with Golf Town, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to the latest and greatest in golf equipment.
Golf Town has grown to become the Home of Golf in Canada. Our online web business and stores across Canada have everything customers need to play their very best. The Golf Town stores and site are sanctuaries where golf devotees come to try, buy, learn about and improve their golf game.
In this role, you will manage and distribute inventories to all stores by working cross-functionally internally and externally to ensure that the right products are delivered to the right store at the right time and quantity to increase profitable sales, maximize inventory productivity, and balance inventory levels by Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) for stores.
- Maintain accurate item data, execute SKU setups, update pricing, and ensure all products are live in-store and online.
- Create, track, and maintain bulk and special order purchase orders, including updates, cancellations, and replenishments.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports, including sales trends, size curve analysis, and promotional sales performance.
- Manage markdowns, product availability, and lifecycle planning in collaboration with merchants, vendors, and sales channels.
- Handle special order requests, provide quotations, liaise with suppliers, and ensure competitive pricing.
- Communicate product updates, resolve execution issues, and ensure teams receive relevant product information.
- Act as a key liaison for consumers and vendors to address product issues and special order needs.
What You'll Bring;
- 2-5 years’ relatable experience in data entry and data management.
- Customer-centric mindset; listening, understanding and responding to customer needs while being committed to the customer first philosophy; this applies to both internal and external customers.
- Effectively and professionally communication skills with associates and customers.
- The ability to process information/merchandise through reporting and order entry systems.
- Perform duties with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and possess the capability of prioritizing workload.
- Passion and strong understanding of golf.
