Golf Canada is seeking a results driven and relationship oriented Manager, Premium Experiences to drive the sales and revenue generation of corporate hospitality and ticketing products for the RBC Canadian Open and the CPKC Women's Open.
This role is critical to driving commercial growth across two of Canada's premier sporting events, with a focus on delivering best-in-class premium experiences while maximizing revenue through strategic sales, client relationships, and innovative packaging.
Primary Duties 1. Premium Sales of RBC Canadian Open & CPKC Women's Open Tournaments (70%)
- Maintain a high level of sales activity, including outbound calls, emails, in person meetings, and networking engagements to consistently build and advance a strong pipeline
- Manage daily and weekly sales efforts, including prospecting, client meetings, proposal development, and attendance at industry, community, and charitable events
- Leverage and expand an existing network of clients and stakeholders, including corporate partners, host club members, vendors, and community organizations
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead development, and relationship building
- Understand client objectives and deliver tailored premium hospitality and ticketing solutions that align with their business goals
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach through presentation, negotiation, and closing of new business
- Collaborate with the Director, Premium Experiences & Ticketing to establish and execute against annual revenue targets, ensuring consistent achievement or over-delivery
- Contribute to the development and execution of premium sales strategies for the RBC Canadian Open and CPKC Women's Open
- Work cross functionally with internal teams to ensure premium products and services are effectively integrated into client offerings and delivered at a best in class level
- Partner with key external stakeholders, including PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, and Championship operations teams, to align on sales strategies and optimize commercial performance
- Use creative ideas to stay in front of clients throughout the year, to exceed their expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction that will translate into renewals and increased participation from year to year
2. Service & Administrative Support (20%)
- Tracking and adding of payments
- Reporting & invoicing
- Support of our premium & finance teams
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipelines within CRM and Ticketmaster systems
- Track leads, conversions, and revenue performance against targets
- Assist with sales reporting, forecasts, and post event recap analysis
- Assist with ticket fulfillment, delivery, and issue resolution in collaboration with ticket operations
- Support the execution of ticketing promotions, offers, and sales campaigns
- Assist with communication and support our customers in our mobile ticketing initiatives
3. Other Duties (10%)
- Special assignments as required
- Work with professional championships & premium team to manage on site corporate hospitality customer requirements for Canadian Opens
- Work closely with Ticket Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, and Hospitality teams to align sales efforts
- Support sales operations interns and seasonal staff as needed during peak sales periods
- Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills through training and mentorship
Required Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, sales and marketing, or other related fields. Minimum five (5) years of business to business sales experience
- Background in sport with event or team experience in sponsorship/hospitality ticket sales is preferred
- Well established contacts (book of business), with emphasis on the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- Proven track record of uncovering new business and proven sales results
- CRM activity based sales, management, and protocols (Salesforce preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, ticketing, sponsorship, or customer service (sports or live events preferred)
- Experience using Ticketmaster Archtics, CRM systems, or sales platforms
- Background in sports, entertainment, or live events
- Interest in pursuing a long term career in sports sales or commercial leadership
- Strong organizational skills and administration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Exceptional customer service skills, including professional and proficient phone, interpersonal and email communications
- Strong decision making and conflict resolution abilities
- High proficiency with Microsoft office suite including advanced MS Excel skills
- Golf knowledge or experience is not required but a passion and interest in the game of golf and in Golf Canada's mission is
- Some travel for business out of province may be required
- Some weekends and nights required

- Maintenir un niveau élevé d'activité commerciale, notamment par le biais d'appels sortants, de courriels, de rendez vous en personne et d'activités de réseautage, afin de constituer et de développer en permanence un riche bassin de clientèle.
- Gérer les activités commerciales quotidiennes et hebdomadaires, notamment la prospection, les rendez vous avec les clients, l'élaboration de propositions et la participation à des évènements professionnels, communautaires et caritatifs
- Tirer parti du réseau existant de clients et de parties prenantes, notamment les entreprises partenaires, les membres des clubs hôtes, les fournisseurs et les organisations communautaires et développer ce réseau.
