  • *OVERVIEW:**

The Coordinator, Partnerships is a motivated, self-starter and mission-oriented individual supporting the work of Golf Canada’s Partnerships team. As part of their role, they will be responsible to work with Partnerships team members and partners to support in implementing, executing, and maintaining partner contracted assets ranging from digital to experiential across various Golf Canada properties.

The Coordinator will work closely with both the Partnership Development and Partnership Marketing teams to support partnership initiatives across Golf Canada properties.

The Coordinator will assist in identifying and researching prospective partners, preparing partnership proposals and sales materials, and maintaining the partnership development pipeline. They will also support the execution and fulfillment of partner contracted assets across Golf Canada events, championships, and programs, while assisting with meeting coordination, note-taking, and follow-up communications with prospective and current partners.

  • *PRIMARY DUTIES:**
  • *1. Partnership Development Support (65%)**
  • *Prospect Research & Pipeline Development**
  • Support the Partnership Development team in identifying prospective corporate partners aligned with Golf Canada’s events, programs, and partnership platforms
  • Conduct research on target companies, industries, and categories, helping to identify potential partnership opportunities
  • Maintain the partnership prospect pipeline and CRM records, ensuring opportunities, contacts, and meeting notes remain current
  • Prepare background research and briefing materials ahead of partnership meetings
  • Coordinate outreach logistics and introductory communications with prospective partners
  • *Sales Material & Proposal Support**
  • Prepare and format partnership proposals, presentations, and supporting sales materials for prospective partners
  • Coordinate the collection of internal information and available partnership assets across Golf Canada properties to support proposal development
  • *Financial & Opportunity Tracking**
  • Prepare financial summaries and supporting materials for partnership proposals, including rights fee structures, asset breakdowns, and valuation summaries
  • Assist in compiling partnership development reporting and pipeline updates to support internal planning, forecasting, and revenue tracking
  • Support the preparation of internal partnership updates and performance summaries for leadership reporting
  • *2. Partnership Marketing Support (35%)**
  • *Execution Support**
  • Support the Partnership Marketing team in delivering contracted partner assets and programs across Golf Canada properties.
  • Track and administer contractual partner deliverables to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all obligations.
  • Assist with the execution of partner activation programs across Golf Canada platforms, including Marketing & Communications, Professional Championships, Amateur Championships, and Sports Development initiatives.
  • Coordinate partner fulfillment needs such as brand approvals, event invitations, logo collection, and asset materials.
  • Provide on-site support for partner activations leading up to and during the RBC Canadian Open and CPKC Women’s Open, as well as other Golf Canada events and programs as required.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of ancillary events, including the Monday After Golf tournaments and Partner Appreciation Day.
  • *Reporting and Inventory Support**
  • Compile and organize year-end reporting metrics, results and photography for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in the development of partner year-end wrap reports, including maintaining consistent reporting templates and presentation materials.
  • *REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES:**
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in sport management, business, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of sport program management experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Golf Canada professionally in meetings with partners and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and note-taking abilities, with the capacity to capture key discussion points, action items, and partnership insights from meetings.
