Pro Shop Manager

Emerald Links Golf and Country Club

The ProShop Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the golf operations at the facility. This includes managing golf staff, organizing events, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining the golf course to meet the highest standards. The ProShop Manager works closely with other departments to enhance the overall experience for members and guests.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires an active presence in daily operations and on the course.

Your Responsibilities may Include

Golf Operations Management

· Lead by example in delivering a welcoming, professional, and service-focused experience.

· Oversee day-to-day golf operations, including tee time reservations, golf shop management, and practice facility operations.

· Oversee pro shop merchandising, inventory control, and point-of-sale operations.

· Implement and enforce golf policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

· Manage and schedule golf staff, including golf professionals, players assistants, backshop , and pro shop personnel.

Customer Service

· Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all members and guests.

· Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

· Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, guests, and the local golfing community.

Golf Course Maintenance

· Collaborate with the course superintendent to ensure the golf course is maintained to high standards.

· Monitor and report on course conditions, making recommendations for improvements.

Financial Management

· Prepare and manage the golf operations budget.

· Monitor revenue streams, including green fees, memberships, and pro shop sales.

· Implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality, Sports Management, or any similar or related field.

· Proven experience in management is a plus.

· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Knowledge of golf industry trends and best practices is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 9 months

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
