Position Overview: As a banquet hall server, your primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth and efficient execution of events and functions held at Deer Creek. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to guests, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

• *Key Responsibilities**
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure a positive and memorable experience for all guests.
• Strong customer and communication skills
• *Job Requirements**
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid SMART serve certification.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays based on the event schedule.
• Available in the fall and winter months.
• Previous work experience in a banquet hall or catering service is preferred.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and life/move heavy trays.
• *Food And Beverage Service**
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Follow proper serving etiquette and presentation standards.
• Set up banquet tables and buffet stations according to the event specifications.
• Monitor and replenish food and beverage supplies during events.
• *Communication**
• Coordinate with your event supervisor, service lead, and our kitchen to ensure timely service and any changes that need to be made.
• Communicate effectively with other Banquet servers.
• *Adaptability**
• Be flexible and adaptable to handling last-minute changes or requests during events.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks as needed.
• *Professionalism**
• Always uphold a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Follow dress code and grooming standards set by the banquet hall
• *Safety And Compliance**
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
• Follow establishment protocols for handling and serving alcoholic beverages.
