Dishwasher – Culinary Team

Located on the eastern edge of Ottawa, Camelot Golf & Country Club is a private member-owned club recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Golf Courses. The Club operates with high standards and is committed to delivering excellence in hospitality and culinary execution.

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Culinary Team for the 2026 season.

Position Summary

The Dishwasher plays an essential role in supporting kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization and efficiency in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This position is critical to the success of daily dining, tournaments, banquets and member events.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Ensure kitchen floors, sinks and work areas remain clean and organized
• Assist with garbage removal and recycling procedures
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep assistance when required
• Maintain proper chemical handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist with setup and breakdown during banquet and tournament events
• Follow all health and safety standards

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience considered an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Must have reliable transportation, as public transportation does not service our location.

Peak Season Requirement

Candidates must be available during our peak season from May 1 through October 31, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
