Golf Course Clubhouse Staff

The Bowden Hi-Way Golf Course is looking to fill multiple for clubhouse staff for the upcoming golf season.

These are part-time seasonal job positions that will run, weather dependent, from approximately mid-April to mid-October.

The wage is $16.43 per hour. Approximately 16-28 hours per week. Hours of work: The golf course is open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. Shift work is required as well as weekends and holidays. **Applicants must be able to work weekends.**

Duties including but not limited to

• Setting and charging for tee times
• Sales
• General housekeeping
• Answering phones
• Assisting in the coordination of golf tournaments and special events
• Opening and closing cash duties
• Gardening and watering plants
• Providing excellent customer service in the Clubhouse.
• Cleaning up around clubhouse and emptying garbages
• Limited beverage cart operation
• Cleaning and fueling of golf carts

The hours of work will be dependent on operational requirements. Clubhouse shifts available include an opening and closing shift, 7 days a week. Shift length will vary between 4-9 hours. Applicants must be able to accommodate any shift including **mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.**

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience or interest in a golf course environment
• Ability to work as a cashier
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently and in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer, tablet, and technology skills
• Familiar with Google Drive
• Valid Pro-Serve
• Previous golf, retail, or customer service experience is an asset
• Bartending experience and a valid First Aid certificate are considered assets.

Positions will require applicants to be **at least 18 years of age** with the ability to obtain Pro-Serve certification.
