Outside Service Attendant – Seasonal

The Antigonish Golf & Country Club is seeking friendly, reliable, and service-focused individuals to join our Golfer Services Team for the 2025 golf season. This frontline role plays an important part in delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

Position: Outside Service Attendant

Term: Seasonal (April - November)

About the Role

As an Outside Service Attendant, you help create a welcoming, professional, and efficient environment for all golfers. This is an active, outdoor, customer-facing role ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, staying busy, and working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival
• Prepare, clean, fuel, and organize the golf cart fleet
• Maintain the driving range (ball collection, machine operation, attending range stations)
• Assist with golf bags, equipment handling, and general guest service needs
• Provide accurate information about tee times, course conditions, and club facilities
• Support the Pro Shop and Food & Beverage team when required
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the club positively
• Follow all direction from the Pro Shop staff and management team

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry golf bags and equipment
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during peak times
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous golf or service experience is an asset but not required
