Back Shop Attendant

Whitevale Golf Club is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Back Shop Attendants for the upcoming golf season.

The Back Shop plays an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our members and guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being around the game of golf, and providing excellent service in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival
• Load and unload golf bags from vehicles and golf carts
• Maintain and organize the bag storage and staging areas
• Assist with the daily preparation and staging of golf carts
• Clean and maintain golf carts and other back shop equipment
• Assist members and guests with golf bags, push carts, and other equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance throughout the back shop and surrounding areas
• Assist with member and guest requests in a friendly and professional manner
• Support the Professional Shop and golf operations team as required
• Follow all club policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Shop Management Team

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Able to perform physical duties, including lifting and moving golf bags
• Previous golf course or customer service experience is an asset, but not required
• Knowledge or interest in the game of golf is considered an asset
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
