About the Role

Our client seeks a distinguished Head Golf Professional to lead the golf operations at a prestigious course in Vancouver, British Columbia. This role is critical in delivering an exceptional golf experience, managing all aspects of the pro shop, club fitting, instruction, and tournament coordination. You will be responsible for enhancing the golfing member and guest experience, driving pro shop revenue, and upholding the club's reputation for excellence in British Columbia. This position requires a blend of high-level golf expertise, strong business acumen, and outstanding customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily golf operations, including tee time management, pro shop sales, and player assistance. Develop, market, and manage a comprehensive golf instruction program for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. Organize and execute club tournaments, events, and corporate golf outings with meticulous attention to detail.

Manage inventory, pricing, and visual merchandising for the golf shop, ensuring profitability and a high-quality product offering. Maintain relationships with members and guests, ensuring a consistently high level of service and satisfaction. Supervise and train golf operations staff, fostering a professional and member-focused team environment.

Requirements PGA of Canada or equivalent international golf professional certification. A minimum of 7 years of experience in golf operations, with at least 3 years in a Head Professional or Assistant Head Professional role. Proven experience in retail management, inventory control, and merchandising within a golf environment.

Demonstrated success in developing and delivering golf instruction and tournament programs. Exceptional customer service, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency with golf management software and point-of-sale systems.
