Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Golf Professional to lead operations at a premier golf facility located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario . This pivotal role involves overseeing all golf-related activities, including instruction, club management, merchandising, and member services. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive golf programs, including lessons, clinics, and tournaments for all age groups and skill levels. Manage all aspects of the golf shop operations, including inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, and sales strategies. Provide high-quality golf instruction and playing lessons, adhering to professional coaching standards. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the golf course, including tee time management, pace of play, and course conditions liaison with groundskeeping staff. Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, and staff, ensuring exceptional customer service. Assist in the planning and execution of special events and club functions related to golf. Requirements PGA of Canada certification or equivalent international qualification is required. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in golf operations and professional instruction. Demonstrated success in merchandising, inventory management, and sales within a golf retail environment. Proven ability to develop and execute successful golf programs and events. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency in golf operations software and point-of-sale systems.
