About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Golf Professional to lead operations at a premier golf facility in Vaughan, Ontario. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of the golf experience, from club operations and member services to staff management and golf instruction. You will be instrumental in fostering a welcoming environment for golfers of all skill levels, driving revenue through pro shop sales and lesson programs, and ensuring the highest standards of service and play. Key Responsibilities Manage daily golf operations, including tee time bookings, cart management, and club storage. Lead, train, and mentor golf operations staff, including assistant professionals and marshals. Develop and implement innovative golf programs, tournaments, and events to enhance member engagement.

Oversee pro shop inventory, merchandising, and sales, ensuring profitability and a superior customer experience. Provide high-quality golf instruction and clinics to members and guests, adapting to various skill levels. Maintain strong relationships with members, ensuring their needs are met and their experience exceeds expectations.

Requirements PGA of Canada Class A Professional designation or equivalent international certification. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a golf professional role, with proven leadership abilities. Demonstrated expertise in golf instruction, club fitting, and tournament management.

Strong understanding of golf operations, including P.O.S. systems and inventory management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. A passion for the game of golf and a commitment to promoting a positive club atmosphere.
