About the Role

Our client, a premier golfing facility in Toronto , is seeking an experienced and charismatic Head Golf Professional to lead their golf operations. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the golf experience, from course management to member services and retail operations. You will be instrumental in enhancing the club's reputation and fostering a welcoming environment for golfers of all skill levels, playing a key role in community engagement and strategic development for the club's future growth and success.

Key Responsibilities Manage daily golf operations, including tee time scheduling, course marshalling, and player assistance. Develop and implement a comprehensive golf instruction program for members and guests, including clinics and private lessons. Oversee the golf shop inventory, merchandising, and sales, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service. Manage budgets for the golf operations department, including staffing, inventory, and equipment. Organize and execute club tournaments, events, and social functions to enhance member engagement. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as an Assistant or Head Golf Professional. PGA of Canada or equivalent professional certification is required. Proven track record in golf instruction, retail management, and event planning. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
