Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and operations of their premier golf facility located in the beautiful city of Vaughan . Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive turfgrass management programs, including fertilization, pest control, and irrigation strategies. Supervise, train, and mentor a team of groundskeepers, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality performance. Manage the course's irrigation system, ensuring optimal water usage and turf health. Oversee daily course operations, including mowing, divot repair, bunker maintenance, and overall course presentation. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, budgets, and staff performance. Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and safety protocols. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field; Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS) designation is a strong asset. In-depth knowledge of cool-season turfgrasses, disease identification, and integrated pest management (IPM) techniques. Proficiency with irrigation system technologies and computerized scheduling software. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
