Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Golf Course Operations Supervisor to manage the daily functions of their esteemed golf course in Oakville. This role involves overseeing course maintenance, managing groundskeeping staff, coordinating with the pro shop and food & beverage teams, and ensuring an exceptional experience for golfers. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the pristine condition of the course and ensuring smooth operational flow. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the groundskeeping and maintenance staff. Oversee course preparation, including mowing, irrigation, and bunker maintenance, ensuring high standards of playability. Manage inventory of equipment, supplies, and fertilizers, and ensure proper storage and usage.
Liaise with the Pro Shop and F&B departments to ensure seamless golfer experience and event coordination. Implement and enforce safety protocols for staff and golfers on the course. Assist in budgeting and financial management for the operations department.
Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of experience in golf course management or operations. Proven experience in supervising a team, preferably in landscaping or groundskeeping. Strong knowledge of turfgrass management, agronomy, and irrigation systems.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the season. A passion for golf and commitment to maintaining a premium facility.
