Golf Course Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Golf Course Operations Manager to oversee the daily management of a premier golf facility in Mississauga . This on-site role requires a deep understanding of golf operations, turf management, customer service, and staff leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for golfers while managing all aspects of course maintenance, club operations, and financial performance to maintain the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, including turf care, irrigation, and landscaping, working closely with the Superintendent. Manage daily golf operations, including tee time scheduling, player assistance, and cart fleet management. Supervise and train golf operations staff, fostering a team-oriented and customer-focused environment. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the golfer experience and maximize revenue from green fees, pro shop sales, and food & beverage. Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships for golf course supplies and services. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards for course operations. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course management or a related field. Demonstrated knowledge of golf course agronomy and turfgrass management practices. Proven experience in staff supervision, training, and performance management. Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control.
